Buying online - Delivery Time Scale
All delivery times are listed on the product page and will be rechecked when more than one item is entered in to the quantity field, next to the Add to Basket button. All delivery times are rechecked once a customer proceeds to checkout. The lead-time will be shown next to each product on the summary table on the order page.
Buying online - Delivery
Please note that once an order has been dispatched customers can change the date of delivery, upgrade to a morning or a Saturday delivery or request the order to be left with a next door neighbour. The delivery contact on the order will receive an email with directions about how to do this. We use DPD to deliver our products, unless the order is of a larger volume where it may be sent on a pallet.
On the day of delivery, customers will be contacted by either email or text (depending on which form of contact was given when placing the order) to inform them that the order will be delivered that day with a delivery time window. A tracking number will be supplied which can be used to re-arrange delivery, if necessary.
If customers place an order where products are showing different lead-times we can part dispatch the order, although there may be an additional charge for this service.

Buying online - Returns
If a customer would like to return a product, we need to be notified within 14 days of receipt of the product, the customer must then return the product within a further 14 days.
Any items which have been personalised cannot be returned as they are deemed bespoke pieces
Product to be returned must be sent back in the same condition that they were received in and should not have been installed. They should be sent back to our Head Office address by a tracked/signed for courier service and must be well packed to ensure safe delivery. We are unable to accept items that are not returned in their original state.
In order to arrange a return, customers must fill in the form in the link below. This will be processed and we will respond within 48 hours. On confirmation customers will be emailed a label to stick on the box.
Please note that returns will not be accepted unless they have registered in this way with the label stuck to the outside of the box.
Please note that customers are responsible for the cost of returning their products and if any damage is to happen in transport, therefore, please pack carefully.
Buying online - Cancellation:
Customers have the right to cancel their order within 14 working days. If the order has already been processed it may not be possible to stop the order from being dispatched. If we can, we will stop the order from being sent. If it is too late and the order has already been dispatched, customers are required to return the product in the same condition that it was received in. The product condition must be checked before arranging for the item to be sent back. See returns information.
To cancel an order please telephone 01993 883383 to log this as quickly as possible. Customers will also be required to confirm their order cancellation in writing. Email:email@example.com
Buying online - Amendments and Corrections to orders placed:
If customers notice that an error has been made whilst placing an order, please telephone 01993 883383 immediately. We will endeavour to adjust any corrections to the order, before the order has been processed or dispatched.
Receiving an order:
On receiving the order, please check all products to ensure that any issues or breakages are reported to us within 48 hours. Breakages in transport cannot be claimed for after this period so please help us to help you and report this within 48 hours.
Prices are displayed on the website excluding VAT. VAT is added at the checkout (at the current rate). We may update product prices at any time.
Due to the processes involved in finishing many of the Original BTC, Davey Lighting and Beadlight products, minor variations can occur and it is therefore not possible to return/exchange products if you decide the finish differs slightly to the photo on the website. Quality control procedures are in place to ensure all products sold are of a consistent, high quality finish. In the event the finish is significantly different from the image on the website, we will investigate and replace/exchange the product at our discretion.
All refunds are charged back to the original payment method and cannot be made to an alternative source. Refunds take 14 days to process.
We will do whatever we can to deliver your order on time. Sometimes this is not always possible due to manufacturing or circumstances out of our control. The delivery date given is an estimated delivery date. We cannot be responsible for costs incurred due to late delivery. Please do not book an electrician until you have received the order.
We collect information from you when you purchase goods to enable us to process your order efficiently and to get in touch with you in the rare event of any problems. We shall not disclose this information to a third party.
No products that we sell are suitable for children under the age of five years old. Parents are advised that our products may contain small parts.
Extent of Liability:
All goods sold on this site are carefully checked and tested. Under no circumstances whatsoever shall the liability of any parties involved in the supply of products via this site exceed the invoice value of any goods supplied.

Please make sure instructions are read carefully before use or installation and that the correct bulb is used.
