Spotted: Original BTC on screen
We’re incredibly proud of our iconic, British-made lights, and we love seeing how our customers use them in their homes. However, did you know that there is another side to our lights? Original BTC lights are frequently chosen by set designers and producers to add style and flair to the interiors of TV shows and movies. In fact, since we launched Original BTC, our lights have been used in a huge range of broadcasts, some of which we think you’ll recognise…
The Apprentice (2011)
During the 2011 series of popular BBC show The Apprentice, the contestants were tasked with selling British products in Paris. Among the quintessentially British items was our very own Teapot Three Pendant - a modern ceiling light complete with a smooth bone china shade and a whimsical teapot design.
Mr Selfridge (2014)
Set in the early 1900s, Mr Selfridge is a period television drama series about Harry

especially intense scene.
Skyfall is the 23rd film in the James Bond series, and the 3rd featuring Daniel Craig as the title character. The movie was a huge international success and won several accolades, including two BAFTA Awards, two Academy Awards and two Grammys. We were incredibly proud to have Original BTC Task lights featured in the bedroom of the one and only James Bond himself.
